I bought this bullbar from a classified ad and it was advertised as an "ARB bullbar unused".
It had a price a little more than half the cost of a new one so when it was still there the following week I was a little surprised.
The moment I saw it I just starterd handing the cash over to the sellers wife.(wont he be happy when he sees what left for him:D)

So I got it all bolted up and asked an ARB dealer which model it was and he says its not one of theirs.
It was sold by another ARB dealer and bears his franchise sticker.
The guy I asked seems to think it was made by a small local company a few years back that no longer does them. I think they mainly do traybacks for 75 and hilux now.
He agreed it was a top quality and had a high standard of finish:D
It certainly feels like it will do the job when you try and lift it on your own

Anyway I am %100 happy with it. A winch bar would have been nice but with some cutting and reinforcing I am confident this could be converted;)

Goldboy I guess it is 50-60 kgs. Too much for one arm anyway as I found as I tried to impress the sellers wife with my brute strength;)

Moose Thanks ,I like the raised section in the centre and the angled part underneath:D. I hope someone kept the design specs.

I have to find some indicator lens assemblies to fit the holes but that shouldnt be too much of a problem.

It looks like the early arb 70 bars before the swept wings.

Swept wings ? I thought that was only available for 80 ,100 , 105 and 120
AFAIK the 70 series are all flat or flattish.
This pic makes them look swept back but in the shop its not so apparent. EDIT On second thougths they are a little more swept back than mine but who cares if its the last thing a roo sees:D

Mine resembles what ARB currently call their "commercial bar" which is fitted to tradesman vehicles .
Mine has all the welds ground down but ARBs commercial bar leaves them on.
