$19 a string at Harbor Fright!Looks like it’s party time!
I grew up a Chevy square body lover. As I have aged, all old fords appeal to me, bump sides, dent sides, bull noses, etc. Love them all. This is a bitchin farm truck! This just in!

I can relate to that. I grew up with squarebodies and converted to bumpsides. I've had my bumpside highboy since 19 and still love it.I grew up a Chevy square body lover. Maybe one day the F150s will be worth as much a a ragged out 40!Seems to be a pattern here, I love my orange 79 short bed F150. Kids sure dig the older trucks these days, pretty cool to see.
What did we ever do without the party lights? I'm wiring a plug at the transition between lower and upper section just for em.
just caught up on the last 10 pages of this thread. The shop couldn’t have turned out any better.Wired in and filled. Did not properly plan so I do not have rhe right fitting to go to a ¹/4 hose disconnect.
Also, the compressor has no integrated on/off switch. I think because it is a commercial model. I may add one. It is nice to know it is off and will not run if there is a leak somewhere. Right now I will just flick the breaker.
It was fun to get it set up. A Mudder came over to lend and hand and make fun of the process.
You are welcome any time! And I do not necessarily require work for beerjust caught up on the last 10 pages of this thread. The shop couldn’t have turned out any better.
Was absolutely glad to help wire up your compressor and drink your beers! You have a beautiful place and definitely grabbed some ideas from your shop build as I get ready for mine. Glad I’m close by and look forward to some beers and wrenching soon![]()
That looks like a good one. Any link to that model?View attachment 3263557
just add one of these, or similar. This is what they use in commercial shops.
I think this is specific to Europe. Did you make this up?
I don’t know if it is specific for EU but they are common here. You can buy them in 1 and 3 phase versions and they come in different types. That looks like a good one. Any link to that model?

AC systems have the same requirement here. Most are installed with a simple and relatively cheap "pull out" disconnect.I don’t know if it is specific for EU but they are common here. You can buy them in 1 and 3 phase versions and they come in different types.

This is another version, I used this when I installed my AC systems at home. We are required to have a “work switch” close to the unit to be able to switch it off for maintenance and such.
I am familiar with disconnects. I do not need one because my panel is within sight if the machine. My last 60 gallon compressor had a switch right on it. This one has a "commercial" pump and has no switch. The lesser model has a switch on the pump pressure switch. I am considering just mounting a box and adding 30amp 240 wall style switch.AC systems have the same requirement here. Most are installed with a simple and relatively cheap "pull out" disconnect.
Didn’t mean to imply that you needed one. Was just addressing the AC question that @waiting for time raised.I am familiar with disconnects.
