Says the guy who plays video games for a living.

:flipoff2:

;)
All of my Cruisers were bought with proceeds from those video games .... So I'll keep playing. :)

If the good-guy discount were to have a part number, what would that part number be?

as all Toyota part numbers are extant, the reality is is that you have to understand the 10 digit Toyota nomenclature.

That nomenclature relies on a 10 digit logic. The logic is based on a five digit prefix, and a five digit suffix.

I do not derivate from that .

So the logic becomes something along the lines of 90999 –42779

As you well know that is not A real Toyota part number.

I disagree, I believe it would be a combination of the following:

09111-60050
09114-60030
09115-35040
09116-35041
AND
09150-60010

In October 1963, Toyota decided to standardize their reality for how they dealt with part numbers.

That was one of the smartest moves that Toyota ever made in terms of standardizing their kaizen program that Taichi Ohno developed when he was a manager at Toyotda Boshuku.

One of the most important ideas that Ohno transposed from his time at Boshuku was that you cannot change a culture by telling people that "they had to change their culture".

Ohno did it by emphasizing that all "trends" and "fashions" had to be disposed of. The only thing that remains are the truths: For Ohno, 10 digit part numbers pulled from the kanban system by the rank and file.

And that distilled down to all of the Toyota Group keiretsu companies.

All of the Toyota Group companies adopted and developed internalized part numbering systems that remained logical; they remained consistent-- They represented the best of the best of what they were doing during that time period which was building Toyota Land Cruisers.

:)

Just putting some historical perspective to how the notions evolve. And how superficiality has to be disposed of no matter what.

I'm sorry, can you run through that one more time. ;)

Your last sentence is certainly the truth.

Allow me to summarize:
HJ75 ... Build thread
For sale ... Not for sale
My part numbers are bigger than your part numbers
NO DISCOUNT for you.
A long history of Toyota part numbers that contains more Japanese names than the menu at a hibachi restaurant.
The word "superficiality" which I guess is the plural of Superman.
My flight doesn't leave for another hour so you boys carry on.

LOL! I'm running out of steam. So much for a clean thread about my Troop progress;)

Apparently I stated something that implied I was both at an angle or a slant of some sort and also a hypocrite? Who knows. But, it's given me something to do this evening.
