OK, do I dare ask but here it goes...

I say "MY" suggestions box only b/c this is an "unofficial" thread of ideas.

It's been 18 months since I became prez of the GC and I've been proud to say so. In that time we've had some great times. We've gone bowling, explored new states, eaten meals, built rigs and even gave one away. It's truly been a blast and I've enjoyed every minute. :grinpimp::grinpimp:

With that said, I have 6 months as your president and I'd like to find out what else I can do to make this a better club for you. I'd really like to have something that can be carried from year to year, something to "hang the hat on."

This is your club too! Any ideas are welcome, even from others outside the Ga Cruisers to include newbies and potential members. Perhaps some good pointers on what other clubs are doing would be great as well.

Please, serious ideas only!! :flipoff2:

Thanks, now let the gears turn...

FINE PRINT: make it good .

Well....

How about a trophy challenge for some of the club events or for the fall annual at Ralphs

That would be a cool idea...maybe a lil mini top truck challenge in the GA Cruiser Ranks? Timed event? Think that would be alot of fun. Have a couple classes to make it fair to all. Just an idea..I know not everyone wants to break there truck so it would have to be a trail thats can be doable but tough. What yall think..maybe pill guy is on to something?

As you know I'm open to experiment with different events and most of the these things we've done have worked well so far.

Paint the picture for everyone Andrew! Key points: Employ the KISS theory, make it so the playing field is level b/w rigs on 31s and 37s, start small and work from there. Keep the focus contained to perhaps the Annual and provide motivation for ppl to participate, a prize or $$ pot.

Put together a good presentation for the next meeting and we'll discuss how/if it can be implemented.

Keep the ideas coming!!!
