I was cleaning out my PC and phone and realized that despite taking pictures of my samurai build I never actually uploaded them. Its been about 7 years since I started. 4 of those years I let a family member daily drive it so I really have only used it for 3.

Original Plans were:

-SOA conversion
-3" springs
-33x9.5 tires
-Front winch bumper
-Rear bumper with tire carrier/gas can (maybe a rear winch)
-5.13 gears
-Lockers

What ended up happening:
-OEM fold down windshield kit
-New door panels
-New Sunvisors
-New soft top
-Dodge Neon seats
-Suzuki SJ410 grill swap
-Bushwacker Flares
-Metal handles swap

Looking good!

I too have a zuk on the repair that has been taking years.........

How did the new windshield installation go? Can you pass on some tips that will make it easier than it looks? I have a new gasket, a tube of urethane windshield sealant, and new glass, just waiting to go in to the TT.

Replacing the windshield is a huge pain. It was probably the hardest thing to do. I was lucky as I already had the whole windshield off (to do the fold down kit) so I could maneuver it better, also the windshield frame was NOS (the old one was rusted out).

Hummm. Thats inspiring, lol.

Mine is a TT, so I'll be working from inside the cab and outside to install it.

Any tips, or *do nots* to pass on?
