After my trip to AK.
I got inspired by all the folks I saw on the road and went ahead and scored a BOB IBEX for cheap (half price) almost new trailer.

Anybody in here has any do's and don'ts that I should know when pulling a trailer.... Im planning on doing some long trips here in CA and hopefully riding AK next summer...

Also for those of yah that have done some touring. What tires are you and have you ran?

Thanks for all and any input.

Here are some pics..

I used to drag a BOB around loaded w/ McClouds, Pulaskis, chainsaws and gas. Other than the extra weight, it handled fine. I ground the crap out of the bottom rails dragging it over rocks and logs and eventually bolted on some cheap alum sheeting.

Then my wife bought an Outback and I ditched the trailer and wheeled her car as an excuse to get the tools into the trails. :) ....then I bought an fj40 and the disease took over.

Have fun. You may go slower, but you will go farther.

I have heard some say the truth is in the rocks...

Alaska open a whole can of worms for us....
