I just bought a 1993 70 series - You can view the eBay ad here - It says ended but click on the image of the truck and you can still see the ad.
I'm picking it up next week and will spend the time between now and then thinking of ways to improve it.. it's pretty good though - looks like a three year old car and has every stamp in the book from Toyota. everything dome by the book. 1 previous lady owner - averaged under 4000 miles a year. It's totally untouched, unscratched, clean, mechanically superb.
This is my second 70 series. I had the last one in 1998. i then went on to a 4.5 80 series, then to a 60 series, then to a Nissan Patrol, then a diesel 80. Now back to a 70.
They're nimble little trucks. I'd prefer the 3 liter diesel as the 2.4 is only 88 bhp but that's enough for my day to day use..
I'll post more when i have it - in the meantime, I just wanted to share my excitement.
