I have lurked on forums and wanted a 100 cruiser for several years now. I have owned Jeeps for the last 30 years, and still have one. As well I purchased a 1969 FJ40 about 3 years ago and but never built the motivation to do much to it. About a month ago I finally gave in to my desires and purchased a 2004 LX470. The previous owner started with the modifications. When I purchased it it had the AHC removed and an Ironman lift installed. As well he installed the Slee SliderSteps and the BFG AT KO2's. The cruiser had 240,000 miles on it with all the receipts for service since it was new. The maintenance schedule has been followed as suggested by Toyota. I have been very impressed with the build quality on the vehicle. It is still very tight and quiet. I have added the PFran LED interior kit and new hood support struts. My next projects to it are replacing the inner CV joint boots and choosing a basket rack for the roof. After that I want to replace at the least the rear bumper.
