I purchased the 63 Patrol from Norville over the weekend. So far everything is moving along nicely and I hope to do some mild resto and mods to it.

I'll keep you all posted.

Ha, you've seen all the pics but here ya go!

I'll get some newer ones in the near future. Fruit trees just took priority.

Rims from my 40 worked well. The other tires were too much and rubbing on the right rear.

Need to address that master cylinder.

I ran around for a while yesterday evening and buried it. Here are a few pictures.

Nice boggin'. It'll be fun to watch what you do with this. Neat trucks.

I was by myself so I put it in neutral and walked to the pole barn. Hopped on a 1950 801 Powermaster Ford tractor and yanked it out. Here is the old standby:

I've started getting some items in shape. Back brakes are finally working and now I'm on to the electrical portion. I also have a pint of Rust Bullet on order for touching up as I go along. I imagine I'll go back to original hunter green at some point but there is a fair amount of body work needed. Mainly the floor pan which is quite simple. I'll keep you all posted.

Someone on Pirate did an SOA on one of those. I'm not sure how the steering was addressed.

I'll probably stick pretty close to stock on this one. I can fit 31's under it if need be but I'm a bit more of a traditionalist. Parts for these things can be a real bear but that is half the fun. Maybe I'll post up a rebuild thread but I really plan on doing it when time is available so a frame up isn't really scheduled. I have some Rust Bullet on order so I'll start getting a few things covered and move from there. Overall, it really isn't in bad shape. I have some electrical concerns which I have started to troubleshoot and the floor pan under the seats is shot. The rear tub is in very good shape so I'll probably pull that and coat it but not right away. Other than that, the front fenders need some patching but I think I have figured out a way to do that.
