Hey, all! Like so many of you, I've taken the dive into the world of owning a 100 series LC. My new rig is a '98 and I've already got new TRD wheels (meant for the Tundra) with 33s. I've seen a few other threads about these wheels and some have questioned whether or not they will fit. After much research it has been concluded that 1.25 inch spacers are needed to fit the wheels on the front. No spacers are needed to clear the rear hubs. I opted to contact SleeOffroad to acquire the spacers. Good decision on my part and let it be known that Mr. Christos Slee will be getting more of my business in the future. He's got this 100 series rigging down to a clean science.

I'll be updating the progress of my rig here. Let me know if you've got any suggestions. I'll mainly be using my LC as a hunting vehicle .

My rims do look a little complicated atm, but after a install new front and rear bumpers as well as other things they won't look so complicated.

I personally think a 17" rim with a 285/75/17 is the perfect combo for the 100.

Agreed, wrapped in 285/75/17 Toyos 2, & regeared to 4.88, you have the perfect setup. No spacers or body lift required on a standard 2.5" lift.

Yeah I think I'll probably re-gear in a few thousand miles to a 4.88 diff. Next up is my OME lift. I've got it ordered and should have it installed in a couple 3 weeks or so. I'm also taking off those hideous running boards.

I too have just took the plunge and bought a land cruiser. One owner with all the service records. First thing I did after purchasing it was found some tundra wheels on craigslist, then threw on some 275/70r18 Silent Armor Goodyears. No rubbing at all. I just ordered the center caps today off of ebay. Taking the running boards off this evening.

I still have them. Going to put them on craigslist. It will help towards the lift I want.. I only paid 100 bucks for the tundra set, and 250 bucks for the tires with 70 percent tread left. That included mounting and balance.
