Im getting a 40 series plate holder, to retro-fit to the tailgat. i figure my gate is in a constant state of rust repair along the bottom, so i wont mind drilling a few more holes. also, the light bracket above my present plate is so rotted, only the thin chrome plating is holding it together.
so yes..i do need to relocate the plate.
BTW...since i got the whole sheebang, i didnt have him powder-coat it, because i had a buddy who does bike frames slip it in the oven one night while the owner was away. save a couple o' hundered. otherwise, it would have been close to 800-900, including shipping.
in all, about 650.
i know, alot, but i REALY wanted it. and isnt that why we have this kinda stuff??

Good grief. They are proud of that thing!! I guess it pays to knwo people or be patient. No way in the world I am paying $900 for any bumper!

that's nothign when you look at man a fre or the likes...$1400 for some of their stuff.
