Here are a couple of pics of my milemarker hydraulic install.

The bumper is a custom aluminum job I had built out of 5/8 alloy. The two horns on the side are air horns.

The winch bolts directly to the front of the bumper, in line with the welded angle-iron mounts that bolt the bumper to the frame horns, so there is no twisting moment on the mounts during a pull.

The fairlead is synthetic one for synthetic winchline.

There are two holes cut in the front of the bumper to allow access to the two levers that control high/low/freespool.

I'll post some more pics when its on the truck.

Interesting looking bumper; can I have a frontal shot?

Love the air horns!

Looking nice Jonathan.

just to confirm:
- 5/8" thick alloy? Yikes!
- winch is bolted through the face of the bumper with 4 bolts?

Will you use the stock PS pump, or do you have plans for something with greater pressure? Will you use a PS fluid cooler? I'm looking forward to detailed plumbing photos.

Winch controls - wireless? in-cab? wired remote? combination?

g'luck, and thanks for sharing, -Steve
