Help, I just want to make absolutely sure I'm ordering the kit tomorrow. Here's the list. Have I forgotten anything?

OME Heavy front #862?
OME Medium rear #851?

OME shocks all 4. Do I mention pin/pin front, and pin/eye rear when ordering?

CC bushings Is there a part number for these?

NorcalSam mentioned wheel spacers. Is there a part number for these?

Also, do I need to make a bracket for the emergency brake?

Lastly, after the install Do I need to get a front end alignment?

Thanks for the input..........

additional suggestions....

Get new bolts for the bottom rear shocks. These are probably old and rusted and you may as well replace them.

Get new nuts and bolts for the front control arms. You have to remove them for the castor correction, and the FSM says they're not reusable parts.

You won't hae to make a bracket for the emergency brake. At least I didn't, and I did the same lift you're prepping to do.

If the people you're ordering from know the LC, you won't have to specify the shock config. If in doubt, it can't hurt to validate with them.

Thanks Tech_dog. another thing how about new bushings? Is there others besides the caster bushings?
Also, where did you buy your lift?

Correction # 850 front
#863 rear

I bought my lift from Slee. They know LC's as well as anyone out there.

The only bushings I did were the CC bushings on the control arms. If you buy a kitfrom Slee, you'll get everything you need except for the parts I mentioned.

I thought 850 / 860 was heavy front and medium rear (Sleeoffroad.com)????

Thanks for the advice, thinking I need to call slee anyway... I can't wait to do this lift!!!

Ok, thanks Tim.

Oh.... and since you're in NY, start hitting all the bolts you'll turn with PB blaster right now. Do it every few days until you do the job.

Slee's got a very good writeup of the process on his website in the tech section.

Understood. I'll check out his site ASAP.

Post pics.....I am starting my list right now. Probably will be after summer when I will have the green light. Are you installing ARB front bumper??

Call Slee

Wheel spacers are not part of the kit look for 1" or 1.25"

I can't imagine using wheel spacers on a rig with a 2.5" lift. This is just one more thing to have to check to make sure it is tight. Personally, I wouldn't do the wheel spacers.

Most everyone who sells OME suspensions can help you. There idea of putting together a kit is very common. The shock thing is a no brainer. OME designed the lifts and shocks for your vehicle. This isn't a multi-vehicle application lift. No disrespect to Christo and his crew, they do probably have the most experience with 80s of any vendor, but a 2.5" lift isn't rocket science. Now if you were looking at 4-6" you'd definitely want their input.

Thanks Eric.

Should I do anything with steering damper?

Just Call Slee.....

Called Slee...Ordered. Only difference, medium fronts springs instead of heavy for my application. Should be here for install this weekend....
