When I start my Jeep it makes a high pitched squeal. Any ideas?

Is this a sustained squeal or just a quick chirp and then it is done?
What is the volt meter doing when the noise is occurring?
Alternator belt.....I replaced the alternator and belt in my 1998 4.0 5 speed Wrangler this spring and no more noise.

1990 wrangler 4cl . Coolcruiserfj40 told me to check the blinker fluid and the muffler bearings but I have no idea how to check those things.

Its just when it starts up. and not all the time either.

Or shoot by Robs house......Take just a few minutes
