I hope she gets better quickly. They are like children and I know how much it hurts.

Good vibes for your pooch.

Good for the driver to come get you. I've never been in that situation "Knock on wood" but he could have easily driven off. That says a lot about him. I pray for that beautiful dog. I would be heart broken if that happened to my baby!

I am so sorry. I hope she is ok.

I'm truly sorry for what happened to your beloved pup. I hope she recovers quickly.

I had to pull my dogs out from under a Lexus a while ago. A stupid lady didn't look to the right as she stopped at a stop sign to turn right. The 3 of us had just stepped off of the sidewalk to cross the street. Good thing she stopped as she heard my golf club hit her hood. My pups were 1 foot away from being crushed by her Lexus. You can be sure she had to get her hood refinished after I was done.

Was she driving on the course or were you playing golf on the street. :D Do you always take your dogs golfing?

Mike,
I'll pulling for you and Layla!

Mine was hit by a motorcycle and broke her leg. I really feel for you and know what it's like. It's hard.

Hang in there...

I usually take my pups to a 4 acre, school baseball field just around the corner from my house. While they do their thing, I hit golf balls with my pitching wedge. Unfortunately, I live in an area where most everyone disregards stop signs. If no one's around they don't even bother to stop. Cops are no help either. They see them do it plenty of times but they don't do a damn thing! It's frustrating! I'm just waiting for a little kid to get run over, and it better not be my kid or my pups, 'cause you're going to hear someone killing the driver for running over their kid or their pups.

well after some time she has been able to come home. we have to keep her on drugs so she doesnt get over excited, theres still very much a chance the internal bleeding could start up again. shes a little sore where her broken ribs are but it looks and sounds like she will make a full recovery. funny she looks like a cow since they had to shave some spots into her fur for the pain patches ect...

thanks guys
