My coolant changing color

I did the timing belt and water pump about couple weeks ago and yesterday the alternator burn out on the freeway today i start work on the alternator and I notice my coolant had Change the color from red to some kind of orange color and why it does that? Should I flush it out or can I just keep it like that color ?

It's fine. It just get mixed with the old coolant. When you change coolant you cannot remove 100% of the old fluid.
 
From a color perspective from wiki...Since pink is nothing more than red mixed with white, you should counteract the white with shades of yellow and extra red. By adding yellow to straight pink, you obtain a salmon or coral color that resembles an orange. For a stronger orange, you must add extra red to the pink mixture.

Did you have yellow coolant ever in there prior to you changing it to red?
