My 2008 LC makes noises (which resemble farts) when the servos motors move the dampers in the climate control system. It's happening with multiple servos, so I'm curious how to fix this and how difficult is it to get to the servo motors in the first place? Anyone have experience to share? I hate taking dashes apart especially if I have no reference or guidance.

It's a subtle noise but it's definitely annoying.

Have you checked to see if the door that changes between fresh and recirculate is working correctly. The mechanism is often broken by ignorant techs at dealers who force the door open. Put the system in recirc and access the cabin filter behind the glove box. Then see if the curved door opens and closes properly when changing from recirc to fresh. If it’s broken and tries to move, it can make farty noises.

And it’s very unlikely you have multiple servo failures and they are very difficult to access.

Yes my cabin filter door is fine and works correctly. My servos work fine and I doubt the servo is failing. I think it's more the damper that's making the noise as it's probably a plastic door that's rubbing as it opens and closes.

I've got similar problem on the servo, just order a new servo and replace it later(DIY). There have 8 servo in the air con system, hope I can find the correct one.
My problem is the driver side don't have cold air, and rear outlet only have hot wind. Before the problem show up, the servo have some strange noise just like yours .
