I bought my 2004 LC back in 2011. Shipped it to Cali. Lived in Truckee. Back seat occupants throughout winter said "the air won't get hot back here." Sucks for them. My heater and seat warmer work great! So rear heat wasn't high on my to do list. Shipped LC back to Maui. Now my rear occupants say "the air won't get cold." Aside from the drip on my passenger floor mat, the front air worked fine and got plenty cold. So again, I didn't care much. Seems the back temp control isn't working for some reason or another. About a month ago, my front ac intermittently misted to which my girl says "that's normal when it's humid out." Even if that's the case for some cars, I hadn't experienced it in my land cruiser before. So I tried not to use my ac in case it was killing me.
It's been hot this week. I decided to use AC. No misting, but... No cold air. Now I'm trapped in Maui summer with no AC. Not sure what advice I'm looking for unless anyone knows of a magic reset button. Just venting frustration as Toyota told me they can take a look NEXT MONTH. I'll let you guys know what they tell me the problem is though. And what it's gonna take to fix >.<
