Sorry no pre-build pics.

Many thanks go out to Murph and Chris at CBT for making this happen :bounce:

Started as a totally stock truck with about 155K miles. Factory rear E-locker, center diff lock. Rear AC unit.

First: added 285/75/16 BFG TKO2. Ride firmed up a bit over well-worn stock Michelins. Ride still the “70’s Cadillac mushy but very smooth ride” on freeway roads. Much better handling on average dirt roads. Also did the "pin 7" mod for locking center.

Next: Timing belt, water pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses, serpentine belt, etc. Later heater T’s and associated tubing. T's actually in very good condition, may have been changed by prior owner. No change in ride quality…….

Next: Front axles, rack, 4X4 service, all other fluids base-lined. No drive time before the next:

Next: Suspension kit #ARB1206 from Slee Offroad. Christo and company were a great help with this! In spite of all the bad press on this set up I am quite pleased with the ride quality. No where near the severe ride some have mentioned. It has firmed up and handles a lot better on the freeway but not as stiff or rough as my stock TRD Tundra. Gone is the mushy body sway in cornering and nose dip with heavy breaking. Tracks well with no shaking in the front end on all road surfaces. Minimal off road experience, but so far much better than stock. I should mention this truck still has it’s original bumpers and no sliders. I got about 3” total lift unladen. It seems to me the ride quality of the 100’s with the various lift kits is greatly dependent on proper setup, timing and balance of the font torsion bars with proper indexing and droop. Further specs include tire pressure of 38 psi as rec from tire shop.

Welcome Tracy. Nice 100 BTW. Nice to see something other than white showing up at the meetings :)
