So I've now owned this '97 3x locked TLC for about 6 months and it has been great, purchased from a fellow mud member. Completely rust free and in remarkable shape for the miles. I know this picture will make some of you cringe, being so clean and all (right after an 8 hour detail as it really, REALLY needed it) but I assure you she gets dirty from time to time.
Anyways, I want to lift 1" and am torn between doing 30mm spacers or the OME stock height lift. My springs aren't sagging as I'm about 20.5" from centercap to wheel well. So I am thinking a set of spring spacers and new shocks and I should be good, right?? Plan to do 285 75 16's on stock wheels.
I have experience with Daystar spacers in the '03-'09 4runner space but not with the 80. All your input would be greatly appreciated. I've combed over many, many pages so I have some ideas but figured it was finally time to ask directly! Thanks.
