Heres the deal...picked up this 87 Toyota 4WD Pickup (Factory turbo) for $300 bucks. The idiot that sold me this thing, ran the old motor out of oil and grenaded it. So he spent $3,000 bucks to have a new 22rte built, threw it in the truck and didn't change the TURBO! He couldn't figure out why is was still smoking...so he just wanted to get rid of it. Needless to say, I offered him three bills. When I got it home I pulled that CT20 out and it was F*CKED four ways from Sunday. I ran a compression test, and leakdown motor was fine. New centerforce clutch too..

Now this is going to be my new DD, so I'm not shooting for 400 whp, 200-220 whp will be plenty as long as it's reliable. I picked up this GT28R for cheap ($500) figured it would give great response, and decent top end.

This has taken such a long time, because my neighbor and I have fabbed almost every piece of this project..

In case any of you are wondering, I will be running a 82 Celica Supra AFM, with 440cc Supra injectors, Adjustable FPR, Supra Pump, and a SAFC with a 3 bar MAP sensor. Hoping to run this at 15psi on 91 octane. Enjoy!

Excellent Score!

you need to hit enter more often
you should also hit enter after each pic.
scrolling left and right is difficult on the eyeballs.
good find on the turbo.
consider using methanol injection to help cool the combustion chamber.
