Here are a couple of picts of my cruiser. I took them at work... I am the electrician for a apartment complex. In the interior picture, I have my 7" windows 7 computer on the dashboard. I use it to listen to xm radio, pandora and soon itunes and music from a external hard drive in the truck.

I have determined that at least for awhile I will have a mall cruiser. My parents and my wife need the running boards , at least one more speakers is busted and for awhile this morning I thought the antenna motor was going bad but I think what I heard was something else

The desktop picture on my dashboard computer is a 2004 cruiser interior. That was my motivating picture while I was looking for my truck. For awhile I thought I would be getting a 2004 and at times I wish I had held out for one just for the added electrical toys, but this one only had 105k miles when I got it and I dont think I could have gotten a better deal on a 2004 that was as well maintained as this one

How did you wrap your steering wheel with the leather?

Nice ride Vilasman. Mine is very similar! I'm curious about your win 7 computer you have hooked up! Not trying to copy your exact setup or anything haha but it's seriously exactly what I've been looking to do. I'm sure I can find some stuff on google about it but I'd like to hear it from someone with the same truck as me!

What kind of tablet is it?
How is it hooked up to your sound?
What kind of external HD do you use? How is it powered?
The mount?
Do you have any options on the wires hanging down? I'd do it either way but I wondered if there were longer cables you could use and someone conceal them in any way.

Thanks man!

I haven't really thought about the back camera hook up yet. Got a few other projects to tackle including replacing that back speaker. Actually it dosent seem huge cause the truck is so big. It is a Viliv x70 computer. You can get them on eBay. They. Are no longer being made. You can find similar devices...really you may find some new in the box from a company called dynamism. Google is your friend. It has a 12v adapter. By the way it will run XP ,win 7 or win 8. Don't get the 16gb ssd version. You can get it with built 3g connectivity. It will take a SD card. Does have built in Gps. You can get the hard drive upgraded to as much as 256gb. You can get a tv out cable for it. It has a car stand that hooks into the back of the unit. But I wouldn't use it off road. Right now I am using the tape deck thing cause theres other stuff I want to fix first. Sound is not bad at all I have used it for xm radio,Pandora and you tube in the truck. My wife is going to have issues with the wires.... She just hasn't made it known to me yet.

I forgot to mention that the viliv is touch screen. There is a 5" screen version and a 10". You can get all 3 with a keyboard that folds flat to make it a convertible tablet. Check out viliv USA. The website is still up.
