Spent summer of 94 and 95 out there with my cool older sister and brother in law. It was amazing even then. And still is actually. When I was living out the 99-03 it was awesome at the talent we'd see in the local bars.
grunge was popular world wide for a few years... but it was a way of life out there long before and after the pop rage of it. Even old ladies have blue hair and torn flannels. It's still out there but folks like myself saturated it by moving there, it's not the same.

well I love 80s rock, country, yada yada but 89-93 grunge is still the coolest music to me.

That's awesome you got to be exposed to it living in the Seattle area as it happened!

Don't think i'd want to live there iwth 300+ days of rain a year though
