MUDSHIP north to DC Area???

I sold my sliders and wonder if anyone is heading north within the next two weeks were we might be able to get a MUDSHIP going to eventually get the sliders up to their owner?

I can take them to SC state line if nobody is already heading up I-95 in that period.... I am also going to coordinate with ONSC club and FJ Bruisers in Va-DC-Md-De-Pa region.

It is two sliders for a 100 series Land Cruiser with hardware...will fit in back of SUV with seats layed down or bed of truck but not in passenger car unless it is station wagon or maybe a Suburu type.

This would have worked out great about three weeks ago. The BSA National Jamboree was in the DC area and there were tons of folks going including my Dad who drove his F150.

Oh, and Slee sliders (qty 2) for the 100 WILL fit in a 2000 Galant with the trunk, doors and all windows closed. You'll just have to take my word for it as I didn't take pics.

It was definately an interesting configureation. They were delivered to the airport in Charlotte because delivering to my house would have added about $200 to shipping. The pass. rear seat would fold down for access to the trunk and the front pass. seat was reclined all the way. Still, the end of the sliders were about 2" from the steering wheel and I had to rest my right arm on them as I traveled down the interstate. I went about 10mph under the speed limit. I guess I thought that if I had an accident going a little slower it wouldn't kill me quite as badly.

anybody heading up I-95 this week as I have a guy in Raleigh that is heading up to New York and can carry them with him. I can get them to Florence area likely one afternoon but would need to get them closer to Raleigh for this guy to pick them up.

Mylene...you interested in helping out since you are not too far from Raleight? Meet me in Florence/SOB and then keep at your place and I will get this guy to pick them up before Friday?

I am heading to Charlotte thursday or friday if that can help any. I will be stopping in Clover at a High School and then heading up to 4WP's to pick up some recovery gear.

I will be there this week, just not sure which day yet. I'll take you up on the lunch as long as I don't have to meet any school officials for lunch.

I am starting an estimate to renovate the HS and add a new ATC building on the campus.
