I finally got to Mudraks
Here are some after and before pics

OME heavy suspension and 33” Goodyear MTR’s –
Old school rims and hubcaps.
Truck handles great and looks like it should.
I think I will probably go to some Goodyear AT Silent armors though because the MTR’s are a little to much for the amount of highway traveling we do.

nice! I like the old stock wheels, nice touch...

Gary has improved a lot of trucks.

I like the FJ40 hubcaps.

Ya know, I do like those wheels and hub caps. Where can I get some of those?

Yeah, what kind (brand -where'd ya get 'em) of rims are those? Size .. ?? C'mon, man, we need answers!

That looks awesome.

They are stock Fj40 wheels.

Gary at Mudraks got the wheels for me - Stock Toyota rims that will accept the hubcaps - I'm not sure what the width is. The tires sort of balloon but that is okay. I believe they come standard in the black color. You can also get the wheels and hubcaps from Cruiser Dan -
Big bumpers will come someday. I had to take off the rear roof rack to get it inside my garage - I should have just aired down but oh-well. I can't wait to get it on some trails!

Thanks Cab.

If said Dan is available, how much would those wheels and caps cost? Also, what width are those wheels? Could they stand up to 37" BFG's?

Man I love those wheels they look great!!!

Nice Rig also dig the wheels and the "Rack".

Don't mean to high-jack but where can I score one of those 3FE stickers?

I dig the wheels... What size are they? $OR says the stock ones are 5.5x15.

Looking very nice Cabrito. Gary got that out in record time. Didn't you get a front axle service, lift and a few other mods at the same time? Very clean and nice truck.

Been off line for a long weekend in LA -

Gary rocks! Less than a week and yes I also got the front axle serviced and pretty much just the OME suspension with the wheels and tires.

Gary is good at the fab stuff. If you did a SOA conversion then I can see Gary doing it.”

How do I answer this one? It feels like I’m being goaded into admitting that I am un-worthy because I didn’t do it myself so here is my reply to those questions.
1) Because I spend my free time counting my money. :flipoff2:
2) I prefer to do those types of things in the field.
3) I’ve seen too many posts by people asking how to correct the lean to the left or right after a self install, and that would definitely be me.
4) After installing bigger shackles on my ScoutII by myself I said never again.
5) Gary suggested that I use him for any and all maintenance or mods when I asked him for a referral to a qualified Toyota mech. I tend to break things when I do the work myself so it’s best to know ones own limitations and get it done right.

Sorry, No stick poking intended on my part.

I enjoy working on my rig and doing mods to it. I learn alot about it in the process.
