'Tis the season for giving!

Yeah, having a holiday sale or giving a discount is cool. Giving back to help others is even better.


I am starting this thread for Mud vendors who are instead of (or in addition to) giving discounts on holiday sales are donating part of their profit to benefit those less fortunate at this time.

The only vendor I know of right now is @suprarx7nut who is donating part of the sale of YotaMD key kits to Feeding America, a nonprofit that gives food to families. This is the second year that YotaMD has done this after many meals were donated last year.

It really is amazing how far some of these places can stretch a dollar. Feeding America's website says that just 1 dollar can turn into up to 20 meals.

I think there were some vendors on facebook doing something similar. I'll post them up here if I come across any others.

It is impressive how far a little cash donation goes. I got a flyer this year from Feeding America that they're partnering with Pampered Chef to match donations. Last year it was $1/10 meals. This year it's $1/20. Pretty cool how far that goes.
