Mud in Chicago? Pics.

Thanks to Phil for organizing this, and thanks to Tom for being one hell of a trail boss. This was at The Cliffs Insane Terrain in Marseilles Illinois. We had 9 FJ's and 2 Jeeps. I think everyone there was impressed with how well an FJC does. ...even stock.

Shhhh. Don't tell anybody. I've got a reputation as a hard ass to protect.


FJCs did great on the trail. It was really cool seeing them out there.

They handled that sloppy mud at least as well as my lifted, locked and MTRed 80 series did.




Next time tell a guy. I was out there purely by coincidence. My wife was waffling about coming with and bringing her FJC. She really wants to wheel it. She even drove out, but missed everybody.


You got to go back in the dry. That place is awesome when it's not muddy.

My 80 got severe body damage out there today. All of it down in the more difficult trails where only the stupid went today.
