Where are we?

Drivers side (US) rear corner, behind the wheel, looking up. Small hose, about 3-4mm diameter, seems have been clipped to the frame, now broken. What is it? Importance?

Old air bag line?

Are you positive they are the same hose? Hard to tell in the photos, but one looks like it’s cut/snapped on an angle and the other appears to the be flat. Have you chased down either end?

Not positive, but they appear the same material and diameter and the ends reach each other. Different breaks, though.

I wonder if someone extended a breather from the diff or something, seems rather small for that though.
The PO was not the modification type, he owned it for 23 years and went to the dealership for anything more complex than changing the wiper blades. Truck was 100% stock when I got it, so I believe this is a factory hose.

Two separate hoses. One is sunroof drain and the other possibly a vent for the charcoal canister?

Thanks for posting the picture, now I know the shape of the recovery hook. I too off the tow bar and needed to get the recovery hook.

AFIK the sunroof drains into the lower rocker panels and the hose is a much bigger diameter. At least, that’s where water drips out when I test the drains.

I do like the evap system hose theory, though. I’ve actually been having some venting/pressurization issues

Make sure you get one with a 60mm center-to-center hole pitch (same as front). The ones for Tacos and other Toyota rigs won’t work.
