Howdy. Glad Logan's run was a success. I will hope to see yall in December. I am looking for intel on Mt Roger's Virginia. I want to go there but I see it is about 4 mile hike each way to the peak. I have some forest service maps and I am wondering if anyone has been there and knows if there are any roads that would get me closer and cut down on the hiking time. I have limited time and my wife and dog wouldn't really like a 9 mile hike. Plus when you hike 4 miles out and back the amount of equipment you should carry and I dont really want to have to carry stuff just in case we may need to camp for the night.
