I think I'am going but not 100% sure at this point.

I am planning on doing it, BUT I am about 7000 miles away now. I am due to leave here on the 7th, and hopefully not spend much time in Kuwait. If all goes well, I could get there the afternoon of the 7th.
If that happens, I was hoping to make it up the night of the 8th to camp.
If I don't get back in time, I may just load up the 80 and head that way.
Blanca is definately one of my favorite trails, and getting to do it with the club would be a plus. It was a Blanca trip about 10 years ago that got the Mrs to warm to the idea of getting an 80, and she has had one ever since. Thanks again for the ride Dave!
I even heard some guy named Norm might be there!

So who's doing Blanca on the 9th?:bounce:

Is the plan to run up on Sat and camp at the lake then return on Sun?
I have it on my calendar. I plan to drive down either Thursday night or Friday morning sometime...

Darwin
FJ80 5.29:1 gears, 5" OME lift, Slee sliders, 35" BFG KM2, 8000# winch, custome front bumper, body mods underway

My work schedule is kind of tight lately. I'm not going to be able to camp this time. I'll just meet you guys at the trail head between 9-9:30 Saturday morning. ;)

I will be heading down Saturday morning and plan to camp Saturday night. I may have one of the girls with me or it may just be me, myself and I. I wonder if I can get the dog to go with me?

I let Rey (FJ80 that was on Eagle Rock) know about the the trip and he may be going but won't commit until the last minute.

Lonnie has other plans so he won't make it.

Ok,

So who will be bringing family members of the female variety? My wife would like to know in advance before deciding to go or not. My 11 year old son only cares about the ride.

Darwin,

I feel your pain on the female wanting female company on the trail. I go through that many times myself.

My wife will not be making the trip. I may have one of the 7 year old girls with me but not for sure yet.
Mike sounds like he may be coming along so if that is the case we would be trailering Pretty Penny down on Saturday morning. Mike needs to be back in Woodland Park by 3pm on Sunday.

Is the plan to meet at the trail head on Saturday morning, camp at the lake Saturday night and head out on Sunday morning?

Im not going on the trip, im going to be at the rally, but you guys are the Crew i would say make a plan right here and now!, I hope Norm Chimes in and lets us know if he is going, or can someone with his contact info give him a call and see what his plan is. this sounds like a fun trip, have fun guys!

I talked to Norm Monday Night and he did not mention going on the run(But I didn't ask either). I don't think he is going. I am not going to make the run or the Rally.:frown: I will be spending the weekend at Bandimere Speedway!:)
You guys have fun, which ever you are doing.

Don, Are you back short term or long term?

It looks like I will have a jeep with lockers and 31's coming along for sure. I don't know if Rey is going to make it yet.

Does anyone want to meet up in Colorado Springs Saturday morning? If not I will be at the trail head around 9-9:30am. My cell is 719-649-9180.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to go. I was planning on it, originally, but my son is passing through town this weekend and this will be my only chance to see him all summer. I hope everyone has a great time.

Got home from work at 7am slept till noon and wrenched till 10pm but I'm ready to go. See you guys tomorrow.:steer:

Darwin, myself and John (Jeep Rubicon) are meeting at I25 and South Acedemy at 6:00am. We will leave by 6:30am so you can meet us there or call me on my cell 719-649-9180 or we will see you at the trail head.

Well, it is Saturday morning and my happy rear is still sitting in Iraq. So needless to say I will not be making it. Suposed to fly today, but we'll see, I've been hearing that for 3 days now.

I hope you all have a great time be it at the Rally or Blanca. :crybaby:

Andy, this will be short-term. But we will only have a few months left when I get back here. Won't be home for the Christmas Tree cutting, but hopefully soon after that. Have fun at Bandimere.
