Hey Guys,
Just as an FYI for those that may have missed it - Myself and some friends are going to head up Yankee Hill on Sunday, 2/9. We'll be meeting at the load/unload area near Blackhawk around 830 am. It's quite a drive for all you CoSprings folks, but it's an open invite if you're willing to make the drive.
So far, we have:
Myself (and possibly a neighbor of mine with a GX)
Eric - a buddy with a Sasquatch Bronco
Paul - Blue taco/@Frogracer (with some possible hangers-on)
Forrest - Monster Jeep dude
We're HOPING to make it all the way to the top then back down the other side, which will drop us back onto I70. This may be optimistic but worst case we just go back down to where we started. Also, there's a bunch of random offshoots we can head down just for fun if that's what the group decides to do. Weather looks nice, and much warmer than our Shubarth ride. I looked at pictures from Rising Sun's ride through there last weekend and there's actually less snow than I expected, but who knows what it'll be like by the time we go up this Sunday.
Anyhow, here's the meeting point: 39°48'43.8"N 105°32'24.2"W · 39.812167, -105.540056 - https://maps.app.goo.gl/xbAvAWEbLNLeai1A9
If you can make it, great! I don't mind people just showing up but I'd prefer a heads up if you want to join us so I know not to leave until you arrive!
Cheers,
Kris
