Mt Aetna - New Park Open (1 Viewer)

We/I have never ridden there but it might be worth a weekend/day trip one of these days. This is located on the west side of Chattanooga.

Read through a lot of the bookface posts last night, looks like they're still hammering out the park. From what I've gathered they are in the process of building a parking lot, mapping the trails and marking them with signs. Would be very interested in checking it out sometime.

What I can't figure out are the camping arrangements, looks like they are recommending camping at the nearby Raccoon Mtn. Caverns GoKart Area. Not sure how they are affiliated but must be somehow.

Just watching a few of the YT vids this place could be pretty cool. Looks like there's plenty of moderate trails o keep the stocker guys entertained and enough hard stuff to keep the bigger tire guys having fun within just a few feet of each other.

Never realized Aetna Mtn was so close to The Cove. Woulda stopped by on one of the many trips to have a look-see.
