Got a new job and am moving to NH. Looking for a new house in the New London area mostly because of the school (my son is 7 months). Anyone have suggestions for a good town in that area?

Thanks Lee

boooo! keep in mind this house will also require plenty of space to house members during "field and forest" events during rainy times, since you'll be so f'ing close:D

Congrats on the new job Lee. Sounds like an exciting change in life for you and your family. Wish you guys the best of luck.

Yeah congrats. Hope it means more money!

Lots more dough. Let's Be a stay home with Will. And.. I'm making guns instead of rockets. And wheeling. 50 min from Gretchans

Cool, I went to school in New London. New London proper is pretty expensive and mostly retirees or college kids. It's a lovely town though.

Assume that by "making guns" you will be at Ruger so I definitley recommend living towards the New London side and not the Claremont side.

The Kearsarge School district s very good (serves Sutton, New London, Wilmot, Newbury, Springfield, Warner and Bradford.) I don't think you can go wrong in any of those towns, and each will have it's own feel and vibe.

That is great to hear! Working for Ruger sounds like a great job! Would love to work there!

thanks guys, that is good insight. My first week at Ruger was very cool. I completed inventory on all the archived guns with some of the R & D guys. They have some very cool pieces that should be in a museum, but instead are housed above the firing range :D

Any down side to Granthem area? Kids go to the local elem and Lebanon high.
