moving from 16 inch to 17 inch wheels

Hi all,

Currently i have 16 inch wheels and planning to change to 17 inch. My current tire size is 285/75/16, no rub and no lift. If i go with 285/70/r17 i believe still there should not be any rubbing, can anyone confirm this please?

I went with 17" Rock Warriors and installed 285/70r17 KO2's, used 10mm spacers on the front, have no rubbing.

Why do you want to go from 16 to 16? Aesthetic reasons?

Mathematically the 285/70/17’s will be 1/10th of an inch shorter.
