On the drive to Rausch Creek, there is a hotel around exit 116. I wrote the name down after the pig run but lost it.

Searching superpages did not help.

Does anyone know what motel this is? It looks fairly new.

I know most stay at the Comfort Inn but that is exit 100. I was hoping to stay a bit farther north.

Thanks for the help.

Gary,

Thanks.

I knew about the hotels at 124 and thought there was one closer to RC.

They are expensive, $118 per night. I wonder if we can get a Rausch Creek rate?

I don't mind camping in the summer but would like to have a place to stay in case we do a winter run. Would have liked to make this Sat's Toys for Tots (12/20) but can't.

Thanks again and Happy Holiday's.

Hotels and stuff

Joe- be glad you aren't headed in this direction as the weather and roads are very bad. It will not be good wheeling tomorrow.

I highly recommend the Comfort Inn in Pine Grove. Yeah it's past Rausch Creek (by a few miles at milepost 100). I stayed there for the Coal Mine and it was great. They offer a very good rate for Rausch Creek visitors and it is clean, very clean, and quiet. They have a nice pool and are right next door to McDonalds and two gas stations. It's very handy to I-81, too. Highly recommended and if I remember correctly their rate was somewhere like $59. Cheap, clean, and handy. Gary
