On September 7, 2012, volunteers from Montana-based OHV club--the Ravalli County Off-Road User Association (RCORUA)--assisted Forest Service Recreation Specialist David Rouse to remediate damage to a meadow in Sand Basin. The OHV-caused damage to a sensitive meadow was originally reported to the Pintler District by RCORUA member Dan Thompson, along with an offer to help block OHV entry to the meadow and remediate the damage.
