Monitoring and analyzer tools

So I hope to pull the trigger on a 2021 LC tomorrow and I've always wanted more and more live data on any car I owned.

Do any of you use Launch as an analyzer? Given the car is 4 years old I don't expect a lot of new updates so the one year or so Launch gives you should be fine. Some of the immediate changes I want to do are: change passing blinks, steering temp, rear lights on with DRLs, disabling driver seat belt - I don't need to be reminded, perform SRIs...

Do any of you use Torque to monitor the vehicle? Found it really useful on my V8 Touareg especially when towing in providing real time data on tranny, fuel pressure etc.

First off…

Huge thanks to @misteracng for bringing this to my attention. Figured I’d share as many will likely benefit from it.

I got zero interest in needing a laptop to make tweaks to my truck...

Got it to try to disable the auto telescoping steering wheel, figured it was on Amazon, so if it didn’t work would just send it back

But it worked, and the more fiddling I’ve done with it, the more features I’ve found that I couldn’t access with Carista.

Can also program TPMS

The instructions are basically non-existent and not much online help either, and it’s not all that...

Thread 'DIY Smartphone Scan Gauge - OBD Fusion'

Having spent some time messing with an OBD-II smartphone monitor app on several long road trips, I think this topic deserves its own thread. Specifically using OBD Fusion to monitor the plethora of info available on the OBD-II data port of the vehicle. I can't take credit for this, but would like to bring it to the forefront as it's buried in various towing threads. Credit to @linuxgod for putting the majority of this together. This is what I use and have done with it. Hopefully others will contribute here as well.

Not just useful as a monitor, I think this is critical as part...
