Anyone do this. It looks like a 5 hour return trip from bottom to top, Could even do this as a day trip out of Kelowna,. 8200 to 8600 ft

High enough for altitude sickness concerns

Looks fun. I wouldn't be concerned about the altitude at all. I've camped at higher elevations for a week at a time without issue.

What I would be concerned with on the altitude is my non turbocharged diesel gasping for air. I've never been near that high with my 1HZ yet so I don't even know why to expect.

Maybe a club trip? Depending on time maybe ill have my turbo in.

Snows off this area now ans will be until the end of September. Theres an 8 week window to get up there.

MIght do this as part of my Whipsaw trip.

But I'd also like to see how if I can get there as a day trip

Oh man I love trips like this. I'd be all over it.

Ditto for me if I happen to be on days off!

Was just up there last week, there's been some snow but it's still accessible at the lake. The road beyond the lake up along the ridge looked a little mucky and slippery, didn't want to risk an off camber slide down with the snow on the trail.

Edit: couple of photos in my post HERE
