Doing Mojave Road Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Driving down Wednesday, back Sunday - if anyone wants to join in. This is organized by a group out of Sebastopol - mostly 4 runners. They provide detailed gpx files and you can go at your own pace.

Did this a year ago. Not technical but very scenic and lots of stuff to check. Only challenge was the water crossing, we were there during a rainstorm and had water over the hood and up to my door handles on my 80, wet carpet. I've heard that the water crossing under the railroad tracks has been filled with rock recently.

They are both still over the hood. One clearly had rock put down, but it was still very deep.

On the East end, where along 95 does Mojave Road cross? I know it is North of Needles. Thanks.

It's not much of a crossing, and there are at least 2 options for crossing. If you go into Gaia you can see it. Do you want lat/lon?
The northerly crossing heads to the fort, the southerly one is the more direct route. It is 7 miles south of the intersection with 193.
