Wondering if there are any of y'all that might be interested in a Mojave Road run?? Would like to finish the run, east to west, then head to Kingman for the Overland Expo. Expo is April 1-3. Anyone interested??

The Overland Expo is in Amado, AZ - 340 miles south of Kingman. That being said, it would make more sense to do the Mojave Road West to East, then head south to Amado - still about 340 miles away! Doing it east to west would add another 100 miles at least.

Yeah I couldnt remember where the expo was. Either way its about 1000 miles for me. West to east would work too. Im just planning to head to the expo and figured I would make a good trip out of it. Theres a group planning the run west to east on expediton portal. They just dont have hard dates yet.

I think you mean East to West???

Perhaps I could suggest El Camino Del Diablo as an Alternative either going to or returning from Amado, AZ - it would be more time efficient.

El Camino Del Diablo is another immigrant trail and it's supposed to be beautiful.

After the overland expo, run El Camino Del Diablo, Bradshaw, then Mojave road .. oh wait.. ****, that's what im doing. :D

You want some company on the El Camino and Bradshaw portions on the return?

You guys are killing me. I would love to make it a longer trip and do several routes, but I think about 8 days is going to be max for our group. Ive got about 4 rigs that are pretty sure now.

I think the tentative plan is leave NorCal early morning on the 31st, spending the 3 nights at the Expo. Sunday head up to one of the guys family in Havasu area. Then hit the Mojave, east to west, for the next 3 days. Probably head back up after that.

Would love to have more if this works for anyone.

If anyone is planning a trip on the El Camino De Diablo you need permits to enter this trail. The trail out of Lukeville is closed you have to enter just south of Ajo.The Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge is the home of the Sonoran Pronghorn Antelope of which had I had chance help fix the fencing where they raise Pronghorn to let them out in the wild. The Barry Goldwater range has some interesting planes fly over day and night. This trail is close to the Mexican border beware. The border patrol watches this area and catches about 100 a day.I camp in this area about 15 days year. Organ Pipes Cactus is something to see as these area is as far as they grow north in United States.
