Mojave Preserve & the Ca / NV Boarder

Over Thanksgiving weekend my bride and I made a solo trip thru Death Valley finding the U2 Joshua Tree they used on their album cover. We then drove down to Vegas staying south of the strip and making a couple day runs into the castle mountain area of the Mojave Preserve.


There is a pocket of BML land near the Ca / NV boarder. Very cool area and we will be back for more. Friday we saw no one and Saturday only one group of ATV riders, pretty remarkable for T-Day weekend.

I'll have to find the U2 Joshua Tree next time then. I just got back from Death Valley the weekend before Thanksgiving. We got snowed on.
