There are some great spots out through 7 Springs. Going in to the various lake areas is also interesting like FR 393 but it may be a bit difficult with a trailer. Also look at the east side of Punkin center, lots of dirt trails.
7 springs area is a good close idea. Do you know of any good side roads off the main 7 springs road to check out? I’ve hiked out there a few times. Camped out there once, but ended up taking the road almost to Agua Fria before we picked a site. 393 I think your right might be a bit hard to tow on, and Punkin center area might be a bit too far to get to after work before it gets dark this time of year. I was looking at this trail (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/49-box-canyon-florence-arizona-az) down by Florence, wondering if the road in, Price Road off of 79 would have some base camp options to explore the area for a couple days. The other closer option would be taking 60 and then cutting South on Mineral Mountain Road and looking for a campsite off of there. Have you explored this area at all?

Found a great quiet desert spot on the way to Box Canyon north of Florence for 2 night on USBR land. On some unmapped side road off Price Road. Hit the the canyon trail on the way out which was fun
