I seem to have a lag between the last of the primary and the opening of the secondary. My linkage is straight progressive manual, but there is a counterweighted butterfly that has to have enough air moving over it to allow the secondary to fully function. If I tried to shave a little off the weight, do you think I'd be hurting anything? Guess I could always add it back on if it did screw something up. Not looking for perfomance, just smoothing out the throttle response.
