It's been bugging me for a while that the quite useful push notifications I used to get all the time stopped coming. Finally figured I'd look into it today and I found some info in the help section in the app itself. It tells me I can turn it on and then authorize it after a confirmation email. Cool. But I can't find the "Push" tab that it says "may be under the more tab". It's not there. I've gone through the app page by page and can't locate it anywhere.

I'm running an iphone 4s

Any guidance?

The "current" iOS app (and the "old" Android app) both had a number of issues. A NEW updated app is available for Android and should be available for iOS next week. A few more issues to address...

Frustrating on my end too.

I'm also working on responsive design changes for the main site, so using a mobile browser will be much easier. It actually works pretty well now, but a few more adjustments are in process over the coming weeks for mobile/tablet users.

It may not be an 'update' as much as your old app will just stop working :) Uninstall, reinstall, and the new version is what you'll get :)

With the current app, the uninstall/reinstall seems to fix issues anyways...with luck, the new app won't need that occasional process...

Preface with, ain't complaining nor whining, just making aware of my issues....though I'm a magnet.

The app freezes when logging in, from time to time, and deleting and reinstalling is the ony means I've found to reconnect.

Thought it was the older iOS or the POS 5, thanks to CDan, but it's doing the same more regularly on the 5S, too. (Realize phones don't matter).

Have had to perform four or five times in the 24 hours I've had the phone.

Will say, though. The Mud app rocks compared to all others....well all others are now Autoguides and they aren't nearly as functional.

Again, ain't complaining , just putting it out there. There may be an obscure setting I don't know about, for that matter.
 
The current iOS app has not been updated, and will not be updated. Development focus is on the new app. Hope to have in the App Store by the end of next week.

Android currently shows TWO apps in the Play Store...one will simply "quit working" in a week or two, once the iOS app is updated and there is no more need to support both developers.

Excellent. You prolly know this, but Apple shut down for the Christmas week. I would imagine there is a backlog now. Oddly, my company submitted our app last Friday afternoon and it was approved on Tuesday of this week. Go figure...

My plan had been to finish up the required screenshots while home with family (on their devices)...INSTEAD, with the Developer site down, I couldn't even register their devices on my Developer account...

I'm going to pick up an iPad Air today and hope to have the required screen shots set by tomorrow. Apple sure makes this stuff frustrating.
 
OK - school me. Brand new to iPhones (dumped an ancient Blackberry over the weekend). Just downloaded the Mud app from the Apple App store. New app discussed above I presume. Chew much data as I don't have unlimited any longer (damn you Verizon) and starting out with a very small data plan. I know here at work and at home I'm on wi-fi so no data charges.

Look forward to this app.

You can set this up so you can see how much data you are using on wifi vs cell. very handy. I dont use it anymore as I have a pretty high data cap, but was pleased with it.
 
thanks - nice little app. Assume it only tracks my usage on the phone and not that of my wife or son?
 
correct, just that phone. you could install for each device. Alternatively, you can call a # to get usage, I know ATT is *3282# and you will get a text with your usage.
 
I can check online at My Verizon as well. Thanks again. Look forward to playing with the official app. Going thru a browser to mud on the old blackberry was PAINFUL at best!
