Anybody planning a trip to Moab this weekend?
My trail buddy cancelled at the last minute and I'm looking to join an existing group ride or start a new group fast.
My truck: Stock LX470 with the running boards and mudflaps deleted, 31" tires. I was planning two full days, starting with Top of the World, Fins and Things, Metal Masher and Poison Spider Mesa.
Me: I'm an older, former tube-framed buggy guy. I don't rock hop anymore, but it did give me a decent amount of practical experience. I'm bringing my two youngest kids with me (early teenagers) so am kids, family and stock cruiser friendly.
If you were going to be there and wouldn't mind a tag along, please let me know. If you were looking for an excuse to go, this is it. I'll be passing thru Denver Friday noon, Grand junction Friday afternoon and Moab Sat and Sun.
