Mixing shocks and springs... Ironman and OME

I've been giving this some thought and before I click the buy button, I thought I would ask.

I'm concerned about my ride being too harsh. From all the reading, I was going to go with Ironman shocks, OME 865 and stock torsion bars until I get my bumper fabbed...
Any issue with this? Is it the torsion bars making the ride harsh or the OME shocks?

Anyone have any thoughts on doing this?

I ran OME 865, OME torsion bars, and OME shocks on my stock truck. I would describe the ride as "taught," not "harsh."
I think it's an improvement, actually.

How far off is your bumper?

About a 2 months. I'm going to Portugal for a lil bit. But my wife will be driving it...

If your bumper is only two months away I'd just run the parts you plan on running with the bumper.
That said, I can't think of why you can't mix Ironman shocks with OME coils.

@Hayes Thanks. So next week the plan is to get 295/70/18s put on and I'm hoping the week after to do the lift. I can't wait!!

Ironman shocks are awesome....had the foam cell.on an 80 and they were great.
