I changed the belt, did two full turns by hand everything lined up still. Changed tensioner, water pump all the goodies. When started it up, it ran fine, let it warm up. I took it down the road and it ran great. About a mile into the trip it started getting a slight hesitation. Took it home, got these codes.

I cleaned the MAF, Cleaned thottle body, removed everything again, reset timing belt to the three marks, made sure tension was set. I gave it 2 full turns by hand and everything still lined up, double checked my wires and connections. Never touched the coils or plugs (probably should have would have been easier turning it over, but i just went slow)

So now What? Multiple misfire, and the cylinders, if I am correct, are the four front cylinders, not just one head. Thanks for any help, i have been searching the s*** our of it too. Im new to the 100 game, kind of miss my 3fe right about now! J/K

Mine did that because I connected the battery after having the front of the motor stripped down, to use the starter to bump the crank pulley bolt off. Having attempted to turn the engine over with sensors disconnected set a code. When finished with the timing belt job and having everything put back together, disconnecting the battery cleared the code and it ran fine after that, no codes.

i do not know how to test my cam positioning sensor, but i removed it to do the cam seal, is that something that has adjustment?? Seemed to only fit one way... two bolts. I assume the cam sensor reads that single tooth that protrudes from the gear? I just pulled my crank sensor and cleaned it up a bit... Astralplane what do you suggest i should do about 'checking' my cam position sensor, other than visible wire check, which i did to make sure i didnt nick or break them.

So I just ran it and as it was running,it had slight hesitation. I removed no.1 igniter and saw no change. If I removed any other pack it got worse, tells me that no.1 is the bad one out correct? Cruiser has 120k, what are the chances it goes out as I am doing the t belt... I'm not convinced enough to go buy one yet, any suggestions?

Problem fixed.... after realizing it must be No. 1 cylinder, i removed the injector plug to find a worn out coroded wire with no insulation, UNDRE the beginning of the protective sleave!!! soldered it on and gave it a heat shrink, now good to go!!! Interesting to note the computer was throwing multiple cylinder misfire on all the adjacent cylinders including across the block. Made me think something bad happened, guess i didnt have to pull the s*** off twice but it was good to double check my work before i look like a donkey who put his t belt on wrong hahahha

Thank you so much for the replies, I feel they all had merit, it simple took a little troubleshooting to figure out, I suppose moving the wires around when i removed the no.3 (driver cam) cover broke the camels back on the no. 1 cylinder injector wires. Thanks everybody, we did it. hahah
