Military surplus stores

Any good military surplus stores in Alabama or the adjacent states? I know of MP Surplus in Pinkard and that's all. There had been one in Columbus, GA but it closed two years ago. So what's out there?

passed one today on hwy 27 just south of enterprise (I think it was just north of Geneva). Just saw a bunch of junk out in the yard really. Couldn't tell you any more than that.

There's a decent on in HSV - but he doesn't have any vehicle/trailer stuff - has lots of camo/boots

My brother picked up a gas mask there a while back - ha!

I've heard you can get some good stuff at the Anniston Army Depot - but don't know for sure, thought it was still owned by the Army.

There use to be a surplus/gun shop on Opelika hw, I assume it still there?

Yeah. Heart of Dixie used to be across from Express Oil on Opelika Rd. They moved down the street about 1/2 mile.

Ed's is a great place to shop, although the inventory is kinda spotty. I was down there a couple of days ago and picked up an immaculate insulated cover for a Scepter water can; didn't need it but the price was just right.
