Given a choice between the two rigs below - which would you all advise as the best option. I prefer the 2000 model with respect to color combo, however, will reliability be more of a concern in the older truck compared to the 2005? Purpose will be daily driving - minimal off road use. Thanks in advance.

Mileage doesn't really matter, as long as the maintenance was done properly and at the correct intervals. I'd rather buy a high mileage truck with known service history, than a low mileage with limited, missing, or no service history. I just bought my 2000 LX with 207,000 miles, which didn't concern me at all, because I had its entire service history, and it was mechanically pampered. For what it's worth, it seems both the LCs you're considering are way overpriced. Similar LC/LXs in the Atlanta area are asking thousands less, and you're not that far away in VA.

Appreciate the advice. It seems as though the California folks really value their land cruisers, but I'm willing to pay a slight premium if I can lock down something in great condition with excellent maint. history, and that's necessarily rust free.
