So has anyone done soa with out doing cut and turn.The reason i'm asking is that i'm not that mechanicaly sound pulling the front axel apart.I did do 90% of the work on my truck ,put new tub on ,4" lift,dropped in my 350,mounted the trannyand case,so i'm not that bad.I've read that it can be done I'ts my every day driver in the summer and wheeler no highway just around town.Any input would be great and is there anyone that can help do this if I need to cut and turn.I know i'll need to put traction bars in the rear I can get the springs and I was going to flip the rears and keep the front at the same location.

You can flip your front springs and use an FJ60 front driveshaft to avoid doing a cut and turn. You can leave your wheelbase stock and just grind the axle end yoke (with no reversal), but I don't think you'll be happy with the results.

When I did Greg's, he got an axle housing already cut and turned from Proffitts I believe. Turned out nice. Lots of work!!! But worth it. Do a shackle reversal while you're at it.
cut and turned mine on the truck. took 2 hrs tops.
I have an extra housing that you could experiment w/ f/s. $400 4x4 labs or even more local Iron Pig off road. Prob just worth it!

I have a 4" pair of springs left over from my SO Pinnacle=JT Outfitters.
How did that work out,no seals leaking afterwards from the heatcut and turned mine on the truck. took 2 hrs tops.
